One account manages your separate computer licenses. The default trial needs no card: your account gets one shared 72-hour period starting with the first successful eligible activation. Signing in, downloading and creating a license do not start the clock.
Every additional computer gets only the time left in that shared trial. Reinstalling or transferring a license does not restart it. After the trial, choose an annual subscription for each computer you want to keep using. Renewals are also $49 USD/year per computer, plus applicable tax.
If your account was assigned a card-required trial, Chattium opens hosted subscription checkout during first activation. You explicitly authorize the first annual charge after the shared trial and later annual renewals. Each additional computer requires its own consent. A saved card never authorizes another subscription by itself.
Active authorization works offline until its signed expiration. At expiration, normal functionality stops until renewal is confirmed online. Your data stays on your computer, and safe unlocked encrypted export remains available.
Release a computer online to move its license, once every 30 days. Contact support when the old computer is inaccessible. Release, cancellation, revocation and refunds are separate actions.
